Contribute pages

Adding pages from Peak 5576 (unnamed) — mention the peak name in your email and we’ll file it there.

If you photograph register pages when you sign them — most of us already do — the archive wants them. For now, contributions come in by email while the upload flow is being built:

• Send photos to pages@summitbook.org with the peak name and (roughly) the date you were there.
• Shoot each page flat-on and fill the frame; a few pages per photo is fine.
• Tell us how to credit you, and confirm you took the photo. Your photos stay yours — we publish them with your credit under the license you choose.

Field practice

Photograph, don’t take. Registers belong on their summits; if one is full or disintegrating, note it in your email — full Sierra registers historically go to the Bancroft Library, and we can point you at the right channel.

Corrections

Machine transcriptions err, especially on faded ink. If a name is wrong — maybe it’s yours — email the page link and the correction to the same address.
